Heroes and Leaders Chelsea.P

In my opinion leaders and heroes share the same values. They both have people who rely on them and they also have people who look up to them and they both sacrifice things to do/help something /someone. An example is people who run charities to raise funds to cure illnesses such as cancer. Such people are heroes to those people who are affected. So what I am trying to say is that both heroes and leaders are great. Also, the differences between them are great, I mean leaders encourage others, they also share their values with others. As for heroes they are not the super heroes you see in comic books or on T.V. They are just your normal people living their normal everyday lives. Then suddenly something happens and they have the confidence and bravery and they risk their lives to save someone they don't even know.

My Unusual Pet

My unusual pet is a rock named Rocko. He is a great pet. He doesn't do rude things on the carpet, he doesn't eat or drink, he doesn't speak and he likes to do nothing all day. He always has a smile and he has googly eyes. Rocko has never done anything except smile. I love to bring him to school and my friends love him. But my teacher, Mrs B, is scared of rocks for some random reason. Every time I bring him to school, she jumps on the roof!
Rocko is the best pet in the world.

James Blonde 008 - A Character Description

James Blonde 008
James Blonde 008 is an undercover, super skilled, girly looking agent with long, blonde hair. He is an action man and likes guns and bunji jumping off the Empire State Building.
He has dark, highly technological sun glasses, kind of like a computer, but in the sunglasses. He also has a spy phone that was ordered from the future and an iphone 10s from the future as well.  He also has a mini microphone on the side of his ear. He has a suitcase with all these things in and much more. Like... under cover gear, disguise gear, an AK47, a tracker, a mini satellite and a mask for breathing when entering a place like the Chanel perfume factory. He wears a tuxedo and sometimes he wears special clothes that can disguise him into anything.
James has long, blonde hair and light blue eyes. He has clean teeth and no wrinkles.  He has abs like a man and sometimes puts on Rexona deodorant to make him smell good (especially at the Oscars).
He has a pet python named 009, the Amazing Python from the amazing Spiderman as his sidekick. He loves KFC and Carl's Junior and often stops at Animates for snake food. He drives a Lamborghini, a Ferrari and a Bugatti. He is a very rich man.

The BDS News Show

Zdravstvui and Good Morning!
Welcome to the News Show at BDS! Today it seems like the weather is bright, shining and fantastic.Just the perfect day to go out and play!
Lately at BDS the Year 5 children went to a fun, messy camp called Sonshine Ranch! I am pretty sure they had lots of fun. Alexander said that it was cool and he really enjoyed it! Oh, but there is more: not only did the Year 5s go to camp, the Year 6s had two days of fun in Rooms 15 and 20. In Room 20  the Year 6 children from rooms 15 and 20 did breath taking science with Mrs Green. They seemed to not want to stop doing Magnets and Electricity work.
The choir also went for a rehearsal at Somerville on Wednesday.
That’s all for now, but wait, it’s time to get some two’s, to’s and too’s jambled.
My sister ate two unbelievably juicy apples.
She unsteadily climbed up the tree for the two cats.
“I’m too tired!” she shouted in anger.
“You are too small,” teased the bully.
“Aaah!” screamed the girls, “we are going to the Justin Bieber show!”
She went to the market to buy food, etc.
She wanted to go to town to buy two oranges but she was too ill to go.
Well, that will be all for today, folks, but join us next time for the BDS New Show!

The Rotorua Rail Mystery

The Rotorua Rail Mystery

In the bushes of Rotorua, embedded in the forest, is a stone memorial. People have always wondered why it was there and how it got there.

It all started when rail engineers Henry Henry and William Williams found a lush forest full of manuka trees near Rotorua. The two decided to make a railway line to the forest.

First, they had to negotiate about the route. Frank Franks’s idea was to extend the route of the PNGL (Palmerston North to Gisborne Line) to Rotorua. But that was too expensive. So the route that was chosen was won by NZR (New Zealand Rail) CEO Jaxon Jackson for a route going off the main trunk line at Hamilton and going to Rotorua at Morrinsville. However, on the construction of a viaduct, the work train fell off the bridge and into the forest below.

But how did it fall off?  Workers said that it ‘drove off,’ others believe it just blew off because they forgot to put on the brakes. One claimed he saw someone in the cab. He even took a picture for proof.

No one owned up to driving someone to suicide. It still remains a mystery, but it was believed to be Frank Franks, because his route wasn’t picked.

Once the train wreck was cleared, a memorial was built at the spot.
